Lúa representa una auténtica cocina gallega fuera de Galicia. Es el único establecimiento gallego fuera de Galicia reconocido con una estrella Michelin; el único de Madrid capital que ha conseguido, además, la distinción en 2016.Además de la Estrella Michelin la casa suma más reconocimientos, como por ejemplo el doble sol de Guía Repsol; el galardón obtenido hace un par de años en los XIX Premios de Gastronomía de Galicia o el otorgado a Domínguez como Mejor Cocinero en Progresión en Madrid en la X edición de los Premios Gastronómicos de la revista Metrópoli de El Mundo.
